Youth Scotland - Big Music Live Event

Youth Scotland prides itself in leading youth work and music in Scotland and what better way to celebrate such work and achievement by hosting one of the key events in the youth sector every year!

Youth Scotland is one of the leading youth work organisations who support local youth groups and communities in providing music provision to those in areas that lack such opportunities. Over the past couple of years, Youth Scotland has teamed up with other national youth work charities across the UK (Youth Cymru, Youth Action Northern Ireland and UK Youth) to bring you The Big Music Project, a funded programme run by Global Radio and UK Youth in partnership. This programme specialises in providing opportunities through a number of strands including training, employability and grants to youth groups to deliver music and creative opportunities.

Every year, as I have mentioned above, Youth Scotland delivers a number of key events across the Scotland. Such events include #BigMusicLIVE where we CELEBRATE and RECOGNISE achievement, SHOWCASE fantastic talent from across the county and INSPIRE young people for creative journey’s ahead.

On Sunday 25th February, Youth Scotland hosted #BigMusicLIVE at The Tolbooth in Stirling. The event saw over 120 young people and youth workers across Scotland come to celebrate the fantastic achievements that have been accomplished over the past year. Groups from across the country came to together including groups from Shetland, Girvan and Galashiels to name just a few! This year also see’s Scotland celebrate Year of the Young People – what a better way to celebrate young people by hosting an amazing music event!
